The Silkie ^^ the quail isn't even a day old. XD


The Silkie hatched March 30th.

I think they may be bantams, though not fully sure. The parents are a little shorter than a regular chicken I think.

The King Quail is so teeni compared to the Silkie Chick's feet! XD

The "bees" are red breasted quail chicks while the yellow ones are either silver red breasted or white ^^

I think the firstborn quail may be a she judging by the feathers coming in, but it is hard to tell. The feathers haven't fully come in on the others yet.

Red breasted female king/button quail have white feathers with black speckles, which seems to be the ones showing up.


Here is the mother and father, the mother being a red breasted while the father is a blue faced.
