Firstly, does anyone know of a breed where the coloring is considered "chipmunk" through maturity?

I am currently raising a dark leghorn for a friend, as a chick she has the chipmunk coloring and we were discussing how cool it would be for an adult to keep the coloring.

If not, does anyone know how one might go about trying to develop it?

I can't think of any. "chipmunk" is a chick down color for e+ (wildtype) and eb (Brown) locus based birds. I have never seen it in an adult bird. No idea how to go about it.
Interesting thought.
Best,
Karen
