I am looking for the correct veterinary strength dosage of chlortetracycline as mg per kg of bird. (As opposed to the over the counter dose recommendation which is not full strength) I have a GI outbreak going through my flock of gold laced Wyandottes. I know it is usually put in the water however I suspect the sicker birds will not drink so much and therefore will not get the correct dose so I prefer to mix the correct dose in a small amount of water and syringe it orally.
