Sexed bantams are quite expensive. MyPetChicken has a very similar selection to Meyer's as they work together in some way.

It is seeming like they'll be more, but I am OK with that. I have horrible gender luck. My last broody hatch was 4/4 cockerels... The gods are angry with me.

I would not get silkies or polish if you are free ranging, they are quite defenseless. I LOVE them and have several, but they are in an enclosed run. Ameraucanas and Welsummers come in a bantam version, nice egg colors there. I believe they also both free range well.

Sexed bantams from MPC are very expensive, because A) the cost has to cover the chicks that die whilst being sexed (which can happen when they're so small) and B) Because they're the only people doing it, they can charge whatever they want because people will pay if they're desperate enough.

What about this? None of the egg colors I wanted, but that is secondary anyway. It is expensive, but free shipping? IDK.

Also, I can't have 12, I'm about maxing out at 5 bantams.
