My favorite bantam chickens are old English game bantams. I’ve never had one, but bantam Cochins seem pretty cool, too. This sounds like fun!

Yes, they are. They are a very hardy breed.

I myself LOVE Japanese. I know some hardy strains near me, and ours were happy without heating, but I'm aware that thy are probably not bred like that where you are, so you are probably better off with a CB or OEGB. However, do consider Pekins!

They are beautiful, but I would worry they'd get chilly. I do think yes to the OEGB, though! Exciting! The problem is I would also want a boy OEGB...

Uh Oh!!! Meyer doesn't sex their bantams!!! I will have to choose a different hatchery and have the chicks shipped I've never had to do that before.

MyPetChicken!!! They're the only one that sexes their bantams, anyway.
