So i cant really stand most of my family. I would almost say i hate them. I even give them a fake phone number when they ask for my number. I only care for a couple people in the family and they are the only ones who know my number and they know not to give it out. I all ways tell them if the other family asks (and they do) to tell them i have died. Every year we get together at the old family farm for a gift exchange. I have decided to ditch them all this year and spend Christmas with some other family members. We want to have a nice quit peaceful Christmas. I told the other family back in November i would not be attending for Christmas this year. I brought it up to them today and now they seem mad. I told them i will make a short appearance for the gift exchange but i would not be staying for turkey and pie. I still bought gifts for them but to tell you the truth i really don't want any thing from them. i take that back the only thing i want from them is to be left alone where i can enjoy my Christmas. Would it be rude to just ditch them all and not even attend the party. I love Christmas and like giving gifts. Its just this side of the family drives me nuts.
