Sw ohio here. I heard a couple, but nothing yet. I think it will be quite the show watching them chase them. I wonder if they will get crop issues?

Oh. And here's the latest from the Washington Post: and this was today!

A few cicadas have emerged, but the swarm remains underground​

We may have to wait until next week to see the insects arrive in great numbers​

I’m supposed to have a million per acre and I’ve got 7 acres. Nary a one... my chickens are sooooo disappointed.
