Cinnamon bread pudding

It was very good.
I plan on making it again next week.

BUT this time I am going to go with 3/4 cup of sugar with a pinch of nutmeg a pinch of cloves and a pinch of ginger.
and 2 teapoons of vanilla.

We just thought it needed a little boost of something
it was good but a little to bland for what we are used to.
 
I'm not surprised you're adding more sugar. Ive been thinking about it myself, Im thinking the recipe may have actually called for 1 cup sugar, but that just seemed like it would have been too sweet. Now that you say you think it needs more sugar, it may well have been 1 cup of sugar. Ill modify the recipe. Thanks.
 
I made this again,
I added 3/4 cup of sugar this time and I also added extra spices
1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg, ginger, cloves, cinimen

IT WAS MUCH BETTER - THEY ATE THE WHOLE THING

That really is a good recipe. I use easy recipes like tht in my class when teaching fractions. I used bread I made at home and added nutmeg and a couple of other things. It was soooooo goooooood!!!

I'm getting hungry just reading this, lol! I love bread pudding, but it's hard to find it made "right" and I've never made it myself. This recipe looks really easy, and I just added the bread and half and half to my grocery list!
