City of Ashes RP ~~Players Needed~~

Aspen rubbed her eyes when she saw movement inside the tree line again. There was definitely someone stuck in there, the problem was separating them was a thick screen of brambles and crawlers so there was no easy route in. She picked up a rock from the ground and started hitting at the branches blocking her off. Her efforts were getting continually weaker though, there wasn't enough oxygen in the air for her to do it very fast or effectively.

Kody heard some cracking near him. Distinctly different from the fire. He frowned, starting to cough quite hard from the smoke. Struggling, he crouched and tried to find the source of the sound. "He-*cough, cough*-llo?"

Emily coughed, covering her nose with her sleeve, barely able to see. Her eyes sting as tears streamed down her face. She stumbled, getting light headed as she tried to stay as low as she could.
Garret looked around once they were on the hill to make sure everyone was there. He coughed from the smoke and wiped at his watering eyes before glancing around again.

Leah had called on the rain to pour over her and Alexis and the area just around them to keep the fire from getting too close to them, but they were stuck, surrounded by the blaze and she was getting tired.
(How long r we gonna be running from the fire.. just wondering lol) Jen kept up with the others, then she remembered her bag, it contained her locket . "I have to go back"
((They're stopped on the top of a hill))

Isabella looked back at her, then glanced back to the camp. The area was almost completely engulfed in flame. "It looks like it's a bit too late now... What do you have to get?"
Jens heart raced. If she lost that locket she lost all connection with her past. She ran back toward the fire.
Lee jumped forwards and grabbed Jen's arm, yanking her back. His eyes blazing with refelcted and internal fire. "Don't be a drama queen." He growled. He wondered if he was resistiant to fire for a breif moment. It wasn't the time to die over a piece of metal. (mantha?)
"you don't understand! It's a part of me !"She tried to yank free.

Oh, how do you even know that? Beatrix wondered, rolling her eyes despite the stunning smoke.

Lee jerked on her arm again, so that he was looking directly into her eyes "No it isn't. If it were really that important, you wouldn't have forgotten it." He said, almost coldly. Then he let go. She could decide what she wanted. And in all reality, it was most likely already consumed in flames, but it would be hard to get a fire hot enough to melt metal, so if she were to go back for it later, it would be fine.

Jen gritted her teeth. She looked at Lee "thanks" she muttered. "I hate this place , I hate everything about it! You should let me go . Then I can die and be less of a burden and end my miserable existence..."

She stared at him a minute ..' im sorry...I m just so worked up. Thanks. ' She looked away at the fire.

Jo looked at the ground. "It's okay. I have to admit I've felt like that before, too. It'll pass." He had the sudden urge to hug her or something to comfort her, but he couldn't bring himself to do it. It wasn't something he would do. Instead, he relinquished his hold on her wrist, turning away from her.

" wait what's your name? ? Mine's Jen" she touched his shoulder.
