city vs county ordinances, are they the same?

Beginning to start my coop here in guilford county north carolina. Trying to find out the local laws on keeping chickens and such in my area but seem to only find ordinances from the city of Greensboro. Would they be the same as the county ordinances?

No not the same. County is different from city. At least it is where I live. If your in the county your usually safe. Not to worry. City is a whole different thing. . that's when you run into trouble. But Double check your area to be certain. Usually county has different rules. Hope this helps.

Yes it does thanks. The city puts them and bees all in the same category, and have very strict rules.
