Clean duck water and free food. Aquaponics Duckaponics

Just a normal 1600 gpm water pump? I'm interested because everyone says that the duckpoop always clogs up the pumps. It's submerged or above-ground? I'd love more info on pump if you wouldn't mind. :)
That sound about right on the flow rate. Ive had the pump about 2 years. I will research it more and find out what the name brand was. I have never had any problems with the poop it slides right though the pump, the only time I have a problem is when a large stiff feather gets around the pre filter and stops the pump. To be honest I can't believe the pump has not burned up on a few occasions, but once i remove the feather it goes right back to pumping. Oh it is submerged in the pool at the end of that black hose in the picture. Sometime over the weekend one of my ducks knocked a piece of PVC loose that I forgot to glue. I went out the next morning and the ducks were all staring at an empty pond, they all had the cutest puzzled look on their faces. The pump didn't burn out then either.

Im having a problem with vandalism. My Muscovy drakes are so big they have torn up everything Ive cover the greens with. You guys may want to consider putting the beds outside of the coop.

I know the food is for them but I want to have a chance to grow a little. I get no respect around here!!!

Well done and great idea! We were looking at a pond and above ground may be best for us. I wonder how well a fish like talapia to eat would do in a pond like this. The water would certainly be good for plants. Very interested in trying this.

I am so interested. I have wondered if something like this could be done. Do you have the video on how it all works uploaded yet I would love to see it.

Hey Yall
I hope to do the video this week. Here is another easy project I start. Im growing wheatgrass for the chickens and ducks. It is a big hit they love it!! Very easy and cheap. 50 pounds of seed will make about 300 pounds of food. They eat everything the grass the seeds the roots the spouts, there is nothing left.

Curious if you have a video. I am very interested in this. I am in the development stages of building my coop and run and want to try this method for the pond
