Yes that is overflow. I would need at least 2" pipe to run it all through the beds and I only had 3/4 my pump is not adjustable. In the picture I can see water being pumped back out of the electric filter. Is that overflow?

That sound about right on the flow rate. Ive had the pump about 2 years. I will research it more and find out what the name brand was. I have never had any problems with the poop it slides right though the pump, the only time I have a problem is when a large stiff feather gets around the pre filter and stops the pump. To be honest I can't believe the pump has not burned up on a few occasions, but once i remove the feather it goes right back to pumping. Oh it is submerged in the pool at the end of that black hose in the picture. Sometime over the weekend one of my ducks knocked a piece of PVC loose that I forgot to glue. I went out the next morning and the ducks were all staring at an empty pond, they all had the cutest puzzled look on their faces. The pump didn't burn out then either.Just a normal 1600 gpm water pump? I'm interested because everyone says that the duckpoop always clogs up the pumps. It's submerged or above-ground? I'd love more info on pump if you wouldn't mind.![]()
