Clear Blister / Bump on comb

My 1 year old RIR hen has a new blister (bump/ bubble?) on the end of her comb. She seems ok otherwise. I just noticed it this evening. It has been around 85 degrees and humid the last couple of days. My other 3 girls don't seem to have any on them. Any ideas?

It may be an insect bite of some sort. Over the years I've kept chickens, I've noticed strange things on their combs that came and went. If I were you, I would continue to keep an eye on her, and if the blister gets bigger/worse to let us know. If she continues to act healthy otherwise and the bump still remains but doesn't worsen then I wouldn't worry about it myself. However, other chicken keepers around here with more experience may think differently.
