Hi all,
I have a 2-year-old Partridge Olive Egger named Jennie who has recently been re-introduced to our other two hens following an injury from our rooster that she had to recover from. Today when I was holding her I realized that she was leaking a clear, odorless fluid from her vent. It looked, felt, and smelled like water but I assume that it wasn’t. She’s been eating and drinking well and is active. She’s got quite a bit of poop stuck to her vent but I usually don’t get too concerned about that with her since she often has a dirty vent. She is partial to loose stool when she gets nervous (which is quite often) so it gets stuck to her feathers a lot. Other than that, she seems healthy. I have noticed that she’s been a little irregular when it comes to laying but I assumed that that was just because she was acclimating to the other hens. Does anyone know what it could be and if I should be concerned? Thanks in advance for any replies!!
