at what age do you start clipping wings... and do i need specail clippers to do it.

Good sharp scissors and ear plugs!!!

Chickens are drama queens when it comes to wing feather trimming. You would think you where killing them. I usually do the first trim at 16 weeks.

Do you know what a blood feather looks like? If not get some one to show you. If feathers are trimmed before the blood has receded they will bleed very badly. Also hope you have a good diagram for trimming.

if they're fly'n clip em. only clip one side so they're off balance
