Look how clogging has evolved! Goodness!

Years ago I photographed a clogging contest in LongCreek, South Carolina. Pure good ole fashion foot stomping complete with BBQ, white lightning, and iced tea. The horseshoe tossing contest was fierce, and the watermelon seed spitting was intense. Hot Boiled Peanut chefs guarded the family recipe with tight lips. Once the clogging contest started the folks supported their team with shouts and spontaneous burst of clapping. Small children would break out with their own version of clogging. Family fun you rarely get to experience nowdays.

I use to clog and I thought about starting again but just don't have the time. I clogged from age 4 to 12.
