Closed eye with possible discharge

Doesn't anyone know what the discharge might indicate (apart from respiratory infection)?

I suspect some sort of bacterial infection, may or may not be respiratory.

I’ve never sprayed oxine directly into any of my birds faces. I pointed it over their heads and misted so it gently falls over them.

Could be something under the eye lid that’s irritating the eye, or an infection . She could have poked the eye white foraging.

I hope it is that. She's with her buddies now. They are all taking their daily nap. I'm watching her closely.

Oops. I meant I'll try the Vetracin (although I have oxine too.)

If it's a possible bacterial infection, what might be good for that? Would garlic in the water help. (I know that ducks and alliums don't mix, but my own duck seem to like growing garlic and it doesn't see to affect them.)

Catch her and inspect it, might even be a fox tail stuck in there. Check her nares and choanal slit too.

Wow! I'm still green. I had to look up what a choanal slit is. What should I look for when I look there? Redness? Inflammation?

If she were mine I would give her a thorough exam (whole body, eyes, mouth, etc.) and try to rule out injury or a foreign body. If I couldn't find anything I would give Baytril to see if that helped.

Redness, pus, debris, discharge. I have a duck skull that I will take pictures of that might help people see how the eyes and mouth are connected.
