Cluckawalla Valley was so pretty today. We had rain most of the day, a first for us here except for a weird drizzle last month. Then we were treated to a spectacular sunset with mist coming over the trees. It was beautiful.

The weather got me in the mood to cook so I made a turkey breast, stuffing, yams, mashed potatoes, and dinner rolls. My chickens are going to love me tomorrow! Oh and my copy of Fine Cooking magazine has been laying here for a week taunting me with a pumpkin cake on the cover. So, I made that too!

Yes the rain here was wonderful! Lots of grubing by the hens...
