I've only had a couple without beards, how are all of yours beardless?

I've had a few without beards. (Strange thing, most of the beardless we're 'pink' egg layers. All my current bearded ones I got because I hand picked bearded ones and left all the beardless.

They are probably mutts. My favorite, te one in my profile pic, was labeled as"EE", layed a few blue eggs, and now lays brown

Today I successfully rehomed my last rooster! The RIR named Red. Yay! Now he won’t pick on little Phoenix anymore.

Egg color is genetic. It can’t change.
