Every Sunday ( edited: or Monday ) I will post a new poll, and give the link on this thread. This is the thread for questions, comments, and things like that. Well, I used to have chickens, but not anymore. I don’t know if I qualify for this poll or not.

I would consider them livestock. Here is why.

We as human beings are stewards of this planet. I used that phrase before FFVII remake used it, just so youre aware. As stewards of the planet, we have the right to use animals for our needs.
we also have a responsibility to make sure that those resources don’t run out. We have a responsibility to maintain them for future generations.

Take chickens for example. If you have egg layers, you can use their eggs for your benefit and use. However, you also have the responsibility to maintain the flock, keep it healthy, make sure it does not go out of control, the list goes on.

Because we are able to have animals for our benefit and use, and because we have the responsibility to take care of them and make sure the resources don’t run out, I would classify them as livestock.

I’ll get off my soapbox now.
