And I've got news for you - LA will never stop looking like LA...regardless of what they drive. They've had the toughest SMOG in American for the better part of 25 years and where has it gotten them? Who cares about LA- why should I care about LA? I moved out of LA so I wouldn't have to THINK about LA. LA sucks, LA is dirty, there isn't much of anything good about LA. Any city that shells out millions of dollars on a drug addict's funeral in the middle of a recession deserves what it gets.

I think everyone in LA should foot the bill for ruining their own environment and leave me and my clean environment out of it.

Ditto for every other smog spouting city that wants "collective America" (read TAXPAYERS) to pay for their environmental crimes.

All these programs are nothing but welfare. Welfare rarely solves a problem and this disaster ain't no different.

lol. yeah, they had nothing to do with the day to day operations of the company... just the payroll, and which CEO's and VP's should lose their jobs....

Technically, even the governments own "watchdog" groups cannot locate most of the billions used to finance this bail out. Just where DID that money go to?

Ummmm maybe to pay for some fancy vacations.

What are they going to capitalize on? Have you seen the Republican poll numbers? Obama's numbers might be dipping with a controversial health care bill. I'd like to add that the previous administration never had the intestinal fortitude to take on such bill's unless they involved war mongering. Anyway, Republican poll numbers, even with all the so called outrage with the Obama administration, are not getting any better.

Please explain how they plan to capitalize.

I just want to throw out a fact. I thought that everybody knew this but according to some posts, they don't. GEORGE BUSH IS NO LONGER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. I like to help people out with little "fun facts" like that.

I am very involved in political web sites and forums, and what I have learned doesn't look good. Too bad people aren't aware of the "changes" that were promised, but never told about.
