the vet tech gave me a med that the vet left for me, the kid could not remember what it was so I did not want to use it. I ran in late this evening with stool samples in hopes of meds faster than priority mail could bring the Amprol fearing monday might be too late and also reading that sometimes reoccurrences happen. Anyway the vet just called its Albon and I looked that up and that is sulmethadioxine so I am going to go ahead with treatment he said it should work out fine with what I have been doing. This seems like strong stuff but I think that it is now worth the risk. with the vet bills I will be lucky to break even now with the sale of these chicks in April.
I actually read that mixing a bit of older chooks litter with the new chicks litter was a good way to introduce them which in a few cases I have done, I cant remember though if I did it with these originally or not....
