Cocci again?

I’ve asked them to pick up medication but I don’t think they’ve done it. It’s so frustrating being so far away.

I’m not actually sure what they have now. Now some older birds are sick. My father in law has sent me a video but it’s not letting me add it. They appear to be stretching their necks and gasping.

Ah it’s so awful not being there to fix it and in laws are like, oh well, you went on holiday.

Update. Inlaws took the chooks to the Vet on Australia Day. Birds were covered in lice (not sure what type, vet just said lice) and have a respiratory infection. I'll ask in a separate post but I'm baffled. Where have the lice come from? How are they suddenly covered?

Lice can be brought in from other chickens introduced to your existing flock or by wild birds.
It doesnt take lice long to multiply and spread through your flock. Coops will have to be completely cleaned out and sprayed with an insecticide. Your chickens will need to be treated as well. I'm sure the vet told your inlaws what to do.
Do you know specifically what respiratory disease it is? Treatments vary with the type of disease. What did the vet prescribe?
