??

They're practically known for it, but I imagine that someone else has already answered this.
Yup, just found it.

Sorry, forgot to answer your last two questions:

Normal frizzle to smooth gives half normal frizzle and half smooth. Again, there are modifiers to the frizzle gene so a bird that appears smooth might in fact be genetically frizzled.

Ff (frizzle) x ff (smooth) gives:
50% Ff (normal frizzle)
50% ff (smooth)

Always breed a frazzle to a smooth, otherwise half the birds are frazzle and half proper frizzle. Frazzle is a real challenge to keep alive and healthy.

Thank you so much, that's a world of info. I sort of figured that....kind of like the NN gene in Showgirls. [sort of]
So....how can you tell a chick that is Frazzle from a chick that is Frizzle?
I think I have a Frazzle...and if it is a hard thing to keep alive I sure don't want to burden my friend with it.
After all this hunting for Frizzles it would be heart breaking to give her a Frazzle.
Hatchery folks don't care......just after the money, mass production can't be good for anything.
Even some breeders are just not caring or not knowledgeable enough to be selling chickens.
You have to LOVE the breed you are raising and be willing to commit to improvement with every chick.
Strive for that Grand Champion show bird even if you know it will never leave your backyard.
Don't worry there will plenty PQ to go around!

Even if they were hatched from incubator they still have the broody gene ?? I heard unless they were hatched from a hen they'll go broody , incubator chicks don't ?? Is that true ??

Wow!!! Well, I hope all goes well. I don't know what to do either. Mine just started laying (4 eggs) and she's a year old now. She was just hatched at the wrong time of year to have started laying before the cold weather.
Hope she does go broody for you! =)

Absolutely untrue. If they are a broody breed they will be broody. Incubators have nothing to do with it.
Or the hen who hatches it!!!! Don't worry.
