Cochin Bantams and Frizzle Cochin Bantams!!

All smoothed whites.
Congrats!

Thanks!!!
I wanted anything but white; they were marked "Partridge" and "Barred" at TSC. Oh, well, I'll complain the next time I'm in there and see what they say. I hope I get something out of it, b/c I wouldn't have bought them at all, if I had known they'd be white!!! And I'm back to "Oh, well."
Thanks for the info; I am glad they're smooth.
Now, we're hoping one's a cockerel!!! =D

Awwwww! Yep def white not part or barred.
A barred cochin will be grey blue with a spot on head just like barred rocks. Or at least mine are. And partridge could start of yellow and get dark feathers in but mine have been brown with chipmunk strips.
As for a boy, the one in corner looking towards us looks like it "could" be a boy. But yep the white feathers are a def sign for white birds. ♡

Are you referring to Lavender (#3)?

Wash them in kool-aid or food die and they can be any color your heart desires!

Awww!!!! Thanks. I was hoping for genetically not white chicks later on. I hope that there's some recessive not white genes in there somewhere at least.

What color do you think I should start with? I guess I could dye Lavender and Violet their respective names. hahaha

TSC must be nuts! No they are white for sure. Like stated about they would be black or black and reddish if they were the other colors.
Anyhting yellow or white is not going to turn black.....not to change the subject but those chicks have what I am calling vulture hocks also. Maybe I just don't know what I'm seeing.
Either way those are very pretty chicks, and will be nice chickens.

They are far too young to tell if they have vulture hocks. They have fluff on their thighs. They are supposed to have a lot of fluff, and chicks seem to grow their thigh feathers early.
