1. Is the "o" in Cochin long or short? and is the "ch" a ch sound or an sh sound?

The guy on the cackle hatchery site's videos calls them co (like co op, like you said) and shin. I've been saying co (like in cot) and chin. But I realized that I had only ever read it, so I thought I should ask. =)

It is close enough either way. I know I say some of them wrong, I am a stubborn person. This is one of the few I actually say right lol. I say leghorn just how it looks, not leggern

You did spell it correctly. Matt has helped me out in the past too. A REAL Breeder and exhibitor of quality Cochins. Now only does Blacks and Mottleds in Cochins. He has some really nice Wyantdotte Buff Columbian Bantams also.
