    Hello Peeps!

I am a new member to Back yard chcickens. I currently have two egg laying ISA warren hens, a breeding pair of very attractive call ducks and 2x Blue and 2x Black cochin hens. I have fallen in love with my Cochins as they have a perfect temperment and gentle characters. I have purchased an incubator and some Blue/Black Cochin hatching eggs and I am going to give it a go at hatching some chicks cant wait!!.:) This is due to the lack of availability of a Blue/Black Cochin cockerel in my local area of North Yorkshire. united Kingdom.
I would love any help or advice with regards to Cochins and hatching chicks feel free to post me.

[IMG] & [IMG] from Alabama. Glad you joined us. Make sure you check out the Incubating & Hatching section - lots of information in there. The only tip I can think of right now is to use a hygrometer; it makes a huge difference & always calibrate it. Good luck and hope you have a great hatch [IMG]
