Cochin Frizzle bantam male or female

I say rooster, I ended up having 5 and 1 hen :/ They all turned slightly red like yours where my hens comb is considerably smaller...SOOOO anyone need a rooster??

Sorry to tag onto your thread, but I have the same question about my black frizzle cochin bantam... male or female?

Almost 10 weeks:


9 weeks old. Poor thing has a crossbeak, but is growing at the same rate and is the same size as my (probably) female easter egger bantams of the same age (about 400 grams in this pic).

Your fine. My guess is pullet it is not as red as mine was at that age. But that's a totally guess. I still have no idea what mine is. Time will only tell.

Update: still have no idea. No crowing or laying. It's comb is the same size as my barred rock girls. Does anybody have comparables? It's 18 weeks old.

My cochin roosters at about 15 weeks if that helps at all. My pullet is not nearly as red and the comb is MUCH smaller

Do your hens have a wattle at all?

she has small ones you can't see well here, but it is my only pic of her. but you can see her coloring is slightly different and she is a few weeks younger than yours
