Cochin Hen or Roo? 4+ Weeks

If that chick is also 7 weeks, she would be a cockerel as well.

Noooo not my baby lol she .... he is the sweetest, since hatched just wants all the love, first to run to me every time :( the other roo stopped being as cuddly over the last week

I have one more cochin that I think is a pullet, comb is more yellow and wattles a bit smaller 🤞 I'll post and ask about her later when I get a good pic

Thanks!!

Are you unable to keep roosters where you live?

Bylaw says no, but we plan on keeping until there's an issue...or calling him a house rooster lol
Our neighbors are pretty chill. But looks like we will only have 4 hens....so we're going to have to part with a couple of roosters

This is the 3rd bantam cochin. Not as dark pink as the others. Wattle is a bit smaller, comb is about the same size as others....maybe slightly smaller

The size of the comb and wattles say cockerel. Very strange that they are so pale.

Here is a 14 week old pullet. Notice the comb and wattles.
