Cochin Thread!!!

Post 623 in the Large Fowl Cochin thread has pictures I have posted of six 5 month old cockerels I have in my flock. Most are self-blue. I would appreciate comments from some of the knowledgeable breeders about which ones I should keep for breeding. Criticism is most welcome since I am learning.

I posted my comments on the LF thread before I read this post. Here now you say that most are Self-Blue. So I just went back and looked again - none of them look Self-Blue to me. They look like (Andalusian) Blue - Blue, Black and Splash.

But my comments still stand - ditch #1, and send #6 to me!

I think if you took a picture of the wound and posted on emergencies you would get a good response.

Not an emergency, I was just wondering, and y'all are always on and shes a cochin.... Just looks like skin

Bo Garrett in OK or Rudy Troxel in IN. Both are BYC members and have beautiful birds.

Kennedys Cochins in KY also lists LF Partridge, but I don't remember ever seeing any photos of them.

does any of your guyses Cochin's have red bumps where there feathers on there feet grow my new roo has them on his feet and he kinda bald by his comb i don't know if this is normal
