Cochin Thread!!!

Gosh darn, if I wasn't having a baby this spring, in the middle of moving and already scaled back on birds I would love them. Silver penciled are awesome looking birds. I promised my DH I wouldn't add anymore birds because he already has a laundry list of coop building to do at the new place!
Awesome!! Your building and cages are soooo nice. I am green with envy.

Thank you! We have scaled bird back a lot, I had a ton of waterfowl and I don't really know how it happened but we have to build all new pens at the new place so I had to sell some birdies. I told DH if I could only keep two types of birds to keep it would be my bantam cochins and sebastopol geese. We would never have any eggs to eat but I love these little birds! Your boys are doing well, I have kept them in the garage because everyone is consolidated for winter/moving and one of my older cochin roos was roughing them up and they don't need that kind of nonsense!
Congratulations Lindsey!

Unfortunately I can not build many of these for others but if anyone has a question about how to do this please ask.
"Many"? So there's a list? I'm closest!!

(I know it was just a typo)

Silver Pencilled Cochins are beautiful and those pullets you posted are super cute. I have enough breeds and varieties on my plate or I might be tempted.. or I would have gotten into Whites this fall....

I have at least 1 or 2 members of our club I owe some work to.
