Cochin Thread!!!

Hummmmmm that is curious. There is a product called Ivermec Plus, perhaps they are referring to it, and if that is the case wouldn't that make it just plain ivermectin?
Why go to trouble to import ivermectin? It is readily available in many forms here. I chose not to medicate my birds with something that the distributor can't or won't identify. I certainly wouldn't want to consume eggs or meat.

I think this is the best wormer there is, it is easy to use and it gets everything. I would kind of doubt that she would have worms her entire life without showing other more serious problems by now, plus your other birds would have the same problem.
I suppose she could have been born that way. Do you have any pictures? I'd be curious to see her.
Yeah, all my other birds are fine and have bright, vibrant color to their combs and wattles. This is the best close-up picture I have of her recently:

I guess they're not *that* pale, but they're not nearly as bright as my Australorp's and Easter Egger's wattles and combs.

i don't do anything to mine and they all hatch just fine... i've got about 20 chicks growing out from just my mille fleur pen with 1 roo and 2 girls that are laying so far... the 2 pullets i think are holding out for warmer weather. they're sure old enough now.
I also have 2 pullets that I hatched last March..............................have yet to see an egg. Maybe they're waiting on the warmer weather too. :)

I see what you're saying, but she doesn't look sick. It's probably just a pigment issue.

Can someone give me some input of Duane Urch's Bantam buff Cochins. I've seen his partridge (LF and Bantam), black Bantams, and white Frizzle Bantams, but never the buff. Are his buff good quality, or not so much, like his partridge? Thanks.
