Cochin Thread!!!

My little Peepers has grown so much, even overnight!

I'm pretty sure he/she is a Silver Laced Cochin (he/she is a bantam). We have had them for three weeks now. Not sure how they were when we got them but maybe a week but I don't think any older than that.

Pretty Baby! It makes me so sad to see them get bigger =( Oh well that just means you can get more babies!

Hi, I am new to Cochin and I love my three girls! so soft and sweet. I had ordered blues but the black is by far the best cuddle bug of them.

I ordered my first cochin too. S/he won't be here till mid may and I'm do excited!!! Everything I have read about them tells me I'm gonna love Cochins!!!!
I can't wait. I ordered a buff but we will see what comes in. I'm just hoping for a hen!

Thank you. She's a hatchery nugget, but sometimes you find gold, I guess literally in the bins. ;-)

I like her too and I see some mottled spots on her.
I wonder how she matures out as I bet she will be very pretty!

I never noticed the mottling before. I wonder if it's just baby feathers. It would be neat if they stayed though.

Im still sorta new to BYC but I raise cochins and silkies. They have stolen my heart. I have chooks and chicks at the moment, along with a blue SL cochin, black bantam, and a red silkie rooster
