Cochin Thread!!!

My little blue with crop issue, not sure if sour or the muscles extended is hanging in there. I have been messaging twice or three times daily plus giving plain yogurt. Silly girl will only eat it if the rest of her penmates get some too. Her crop goes half down evey day but it but its so full!! Any more ideas how I can treat this?? She won't touch bread with ACV.

If it is indeed sour crop, then you want to use Baking Soda in water. ACV is acid & that compounds the problem.

Updated pictures of my babies! Is it common for only one to be frizzled? When I bought them I was told Mottled Frizzle Cochin. Is that what I have?

Adorable!!!! I want a splash so bad!!! I ordered some splash from a local feed store and they will be here June 22!

Thanks ^_^ The shipping date comes fast Day before they came I noticed I had no food for them... -_- lol. Just an update, 6 days old and still at 14 babies!. The splash that wasn't eating lived the night and is doing very well but now one of my other splash chicks is doing the same thing. Not sure if its just mine but I have been having problems with my splash since they arrived. I hope your little girls are nice and healthy when they arrive and we will be waiting for that picture of them too!!

I hope your other splash baby gets better too and the rest stay healthy. And as soon as they arrive I will post pics!!!!
I also have 2 mottled coming on June 5'th I hope b/c I leave for vaca on June 6'th. I have someone in back up to pick them up if the arrive late but I'd really like to see them b/4 I leave!!!!

are you looking for local or are you willing to ship? we would need more detail to go by before anyone can reliably help you with your search. I have cochins but I'm in sw Virginia so they would have to ship which can get expensive.

I tried to find them local and I'm not having any luck finding any. I know shipping can be expensive.
