Thank you, I am really not sure where he came from. I bought him at TSC in the bantam bin. I think I really lucked out with him.

Im pretty sure my self blue came from ideal. We got ours at our local feed store. I also consider myself lucky to atleast introduce the color to my line.

Thanks for all the tips. I'll make some frozen bottles and yesterday I fixed some extra cool water stations around the yard. We were not planning on running power up there until this winter but maybe it is more needed in the summer for a fan. Mabel is back out with the others now and doing great. I just love this breed so much, will learn how to beat the heat.

My local feedstore gets their chicks from ideal, Im pretty pleased with my cochins!

now to choose a color... So many options! Thinking about the blue, bc I do love black or splash too sooo

I love blues!Golden laced are a close second though....Good luck narrowing down colors

Ok I found a solution! I ordered 4 assorted Cochins, so I could get any color! yippee!! Can't wait! I also ordered 4 assorted Polish, 3 assorted Sebrights, 3 Assorted D'uccles. I couldn't decide colors so I just got the assortments!
