Cochin Thread!!!

Thank you @Homie Four and @WVduckchick I'm not sure this chick was store bought and had very fluffy feet, I picked out a lot of cochins, and most turned out to be bantams so I got rid of those, and I kept then standard ones then got rid of the rest and stayed with this one because the others weren't blue. And this one feathered out very slowly out of the rest for some reason

Thanks! He is hilarious and has quite the personality! He's getting huge eyebrows too so he looks grouchy all the time lol. How old is your barred cochin now? Crowing yet?

Mine is about 5 months old and hasn't started crowing, I think it's just because he's a wimp tho lol

Is he large fowl? If so that may be why he isn't crowing yet. They mature slowly. They have a deep raspy crow too.

Mines only crowed once. Maybe it is because I let them out at 4am that day. And he is almost 6 months

Just from having both bantams andLF I can tell the difference on how they mature. The bantams mature much faster than my LF. The little guys crow sooner and the little gals lay faster. My guy Stumpy didn't crow till after 6 months and his gals didn't lay till after 11 months. Just the nature of them.

Can anyone help me with this chicks breed. It's the only one I have that has feathers on her legs. Thank you

Here's one of my blue roos. He's growing up so quickly :)

Here's a calico pullet.

Two Mottled (Does anyone have any idea if they are roos or pullets?)

A calico roo

A Mille Fleur Frizzle chick (I traded this one a couple days ago for two black cochin pullets :) )

Unsure if this one is mille fleur or calico. The other one is a splash though.

Most of these I'll be selling at a swap next month, so excited! Most of these babies are from April-May's hatch, I'll get photos of June and July's hatch also pretty soon.
