You have to breed frizzles to straight feathered birds, so the chicks will be like 50 50
Ok thank you, I’m just curious on what bird the frizzle was bred to. Will this rooster carry the frizzle gene and give us frizzled offspring despite being straight feathered?

It was probably just another Cochin

If I remember right, it's one allel for frizzle, so no, you would need a frizzle for more frizzles
 
I was wondering if I could breed my blue Cochin pullet (when she gets bigger of course) to my friends sizzle (silkie and frizzle mix). And if so how old before I can breed her? Also does anyone know what the babies would look like? 🤔

I wouldn't collect hatching eggs for a month after she starts laying. You can possibly get Frizzled, but I think silkied need 2 alleles to be expressed
