These silver laced are the best i have ever had but they are no where near as nice as my blacks, whites, and buffs. I bought them so i cant take any credit on getting them to where they are. But i would like to try and get them to the same quality as my blacks, whites and buffs. I have a quad of the SL, they are all about the same quality, all of the hens have incomplete lacing, lacing on the chest is good but as it goes towards the back it starts to fade out. I would like to raise around 100 SL next year, i think i should be able to get some decent colored birds, if the type doesent improve i guess i could take those better colored birds from next year and breed to nice colombians. I think that would improve the type but the color would look about like they do now.

I want to say that I know this sweetie from the "parrot world" and he's a great person to work with. I forgot all about him working with poultry as well. Duh!

I still have a few cage birds, i have about completly got out of them so i have more time to work with the poultry.
I'm not breeding any longer either. I have just two pairs of breeders and I have one of those up for sale. Then I have my pet parrots, mostly macaws.
I'm concentrating more on my poultry as well. Funny how we met up here. What are you all of 18? 19 now? LOL
