Now I've noticed that many of the cochins on here have bigger combs and wattles than mine do. Because my birds live in an unheated coop in Zone 4, I plan to breed for small comb/wattle size.

What is more desirable for SQ, bigger or smaller?

If it's one thing I learned at my first show, just put them on the table. Let the judge decide.
