Sounds like something I shouldn't go to!! When is it? Do you know the dates?

Au contraire, if you want to see or have the chance to buy the best birds, it is THE PLACE to go. You never know what you will find there and the opportunities are limitless!

LOL, that's the problem, I'll probably come home with more birds and I'm already overflowing now!! I started out with a chicken coop, now I've claimed the garden shed, I figured the lawn mower and tools were easier to get to in the garage anyway.

I'll probably be going for sure! It's not an addiction.....it's THERAPY!!!!! Now just to explain that to my hubby!!

Well, if you're like me, you'll reach a point where you have to finally look at your chicken yard and ask yourself, "OK, now who needs to go and who stays?" That's when you start getting better and better birds. It's hard to do 'cuzz I get attached to most of them, but I'm in it to breed good birds and you have to cull to do that.
I just try to make sure they get good homes.

My cochin is heavily feathered. She has dingleberry butt. Is it OK to trim the feathers? Will feathers bleed?
I am new to chickens.
Thanks

So true. I hurt my husband's feelings when he heard me say that about getting chickens that " Its been a very long time since I've had this much fun."
