Do all chickens molt at the same time of year or is it dependent on age or???​

I have a broody cochin who steals eggs to sit on. We let her have a clutch and one hatched today. Yay!!!!! Though its funny cause I don't think any of the eggs in the clutch are hers...aww. She is taking good care of this peep though. It is a mutt chicken. The dad is a white barred rock mix. The gene pool mother to this peep is an Easter egger, there are more of her eggs and asecond gene pool mother that is a light brahma. It is such a cute little thing. I can't wait to see the next ones hatch out. Broody hens are awesome incubators.

Here are some buff barred cochin chicks that

yesterday. Thought I would take a pic before they go into the brooder.

They did like my camera at all, they kept turning their backs to me..LOL

ETA: I would work on LF but they just eat too much for the quantity I would have to raise..
