I just got my FIRST cochin today!

A blue frizzle, I believe it's a boy, and I am so excited I've been plastering the pictures as many places as I can!
From what I've read/researched, hopefully I'll finally be able to have a super friendly chicken! He has a black silkie buddy, and he cries when they aren't together. Too cute!

Ok, need some help with what color this little guy is. His head says birchen, but his wings say partridge/gold laced maybe? Any ideas?

Will anybody have some available this fall or can someone point me to a breeder who will have eggs available? any help would greatly be a appreciated. hi everyone! I am enjoying all the information and photographs! Thank you for sharing!!!
my family is just getting started in chickens and call ducks for 4H. my eight year old son is in love with bantam cochins and just got a nice mille fleur rooster and a splash pullet to get started with. any idea what colors they might produce? (we are planning to get the rooster a nice mille fluer hen this fall)

I will have some in a couple of months. Mine aren't SQ but I think my hens have nice lacing and my main roo is a total sweetheart. 7 have7 hen/pullets ( and 2 cockerels). Look for pictures coming soon.​
