How far in advance are you going to get them washed up? At least a week in advance is a good rule of thumb for Cochins. Should be a good turnout for the Cochin Class. I will be there and have entered 26 Bantam Cochins and 5 Large Cochins. The total show number is 2700+ which is a record for the show aside from when they hosted the ABA National.

I'll be washing them tomorrow Morning and then putting them in the basement to drip dry in wire bottom cages b/c we have a nice warm spot from our woodstove. I always wash them at least 5 days in advance to allow them time to preen and get the oils flowin again

Glad you are going!! I'm only showing 4 bantams and then I entered 8 Silkies too. Yeah I heard this was a big one for them. I am not going with high expectations only to go and have a good time and soak up some good eye candy. What color Bantams are you showing? Will you be selling any stock at this show? I am in need of a white and a black pair badly. I need some new blood for breeding this spring.

Yep pet quality. But I love them no matter what! The mille fleur rooster and the little whashed-out splash hen are my all-time favorites our of all my birds I have
