Cochin Thread!!!

I love Frizzles! So pretty. I know I just posted about the sex of my cochins but I am really proud of my little blues. They are two weeks old. I named them Lavender and Blueberry

The wyandotte and the black cochin look like cockerels to me.

Thanks Andycap! I hope they all keep getting along like they do. The little black one goes by Olive right now, seems maybe its actually an Oliver now lol. Sweetest little chicken ever.

Okay, my blue cochin is now almost 6 weeks so I was hoping you can help me determine for sure that I have a pullet. Is that normal comb and wattle size?

Very pretty! I hope mine look like that soon. I'm having issues sexing mine right now so I'm not much help there.

Maybe I will try to pick up another one - I really wanted a girl and it would be my luck to choose the only cockerel in the feed store. I already have 3 roos - can't have anymore. She is my favorite new chick too - bummer. I was hoping maybe cochins just got their wattles in earlier than other breeds.

Ok Cochin experts... Looking for your opinion if you think this pullet is a full-blood cochin or if you see any other breed traits in her. The lady that we got the egg from has 3-4 cochin roosters and a whole flock of hens both cochins and others.
Also this coloring is considered Blue, correct? Thanks!
