My mottled Cochin bantam Luna has been VERY mean to the other chickens latley. Today she got Pepper real good making her bleed, and other times grabbing mouth fills of feathers.

She despises the hen Bonnie, we got a week ago. She chases her and likes to jump on her back and pluck her feathers. Bonnie is terrified of her.

What's up with her? She's always been like this, not as bad tho. Fine with people

She's probably just your dominant hen and she's asserting her dominance over the new girl. Try putting bonnie in a wire dog kennel in your coop and let Luna get used to the sight of her. Only put Bonnie out with the others when you're there to supervise until Luna learns that Bonnie isnt a threat. This is what I usually do
