I may be wrong but your chicken looks like a Partridge Brahma. Does it have a single comb or pea comb?

i was wanting to know if i mix my cochin that is black with one that is another color will the chicks still be a cochin or not?

She has a single comb. It's a cochin.

You will get cochins. They will just be a mixed or different colors

She is very pretty. I love partridge. Ive thought about getting a few but color wise they wouldn't go well with any of my roosters, and I like to hatch from all my chickens.

That's alright. I like partridge too, but i sold my cochins because they were not laying much at all and had low fertility so i only ended up with a couple of chicks at the end of summer.

can some one help me i have a baby chick i ordered from the hatchery it got here today and now its acting weird and seems to be having trouble breathing i gave it some of that stuff you buy and put in chick water i took it away from the others what should i do to keep it alive plzz help me

Agreed, doesnt look like a pure cochin to me either.
