I won't keep an aggressive bird, regardless of sex. but if it's just flock hierarchy I usually let it work out. if it won't work out, I can't keep separating someone every time they pick on another. if they don't get along they go in the free range bunch for a while. after a month or so, they go back in the pen. if they continue bullying, they're gone. or permanently free ranging if they have redeeming features, like being a good broody...What do you all think of my Cochins aggressive issues?

Do you have any of those chicken saddles around? Maybe if Luna has one of those on, she will feel odd wearing it and not be in the mood to go attacking other birds. Maybe she just doesn't like red colored chickens.![]()
