No eggs!
Just broodies!
In 3 other locations In the coop I have more broodies too. Total is 21!
Im keeping them broody as they all just started this week. I got 3 doz eggs on order comin up from down south and want some of them to hatch them out.
Once eggs arrive, ill pull my best girls and seperate them off to hatch. Then ill bock that box to snap the rest out of their broody tranz.

You made a good choice to get them! Those are about as good as they get. Matt Lhamons Frizzles were as good as they got at the ABA national in Frizzles!

if I'm not showing them, I don't worry about it... all my cochins live on the ground (mostly mud some times). I just make sure that they don't have any balling on the feathers. if so then i'll soak them some to get rid of the balls but don't worry about the overall cleanliness of the feathers, if you know what I mean.

if I'm planning to show then it's a different story, but I don't have anyone right now that's that high on the list.

My little cochins are feathering differently. They are the same age. I don't think the barred is frizzled though, its weird.
