Cochin Thread!!!

they are one week now and fun to watch, I was given the fertilised eggs with no info so didn't know what to expect, I had 6 small eggs and 4 larger eggs, 9 hatched and the other wasn't fertilised which was a smaller egg so as well as these 4 I have 5 little chicks who are about half the size they are so much fun to watch and my broody LF is such a good mum, it is exciting to see how they grow but I wish I had some idea about they might look like when they are older


I'm going to take a WAG, the 3 gray/blue chicks might be golden laced cochins. The brown one might be a partridge, but it looks a little dark.

thanks at least it makes it exciting trying to guess and hopefully they will turn out pretty, am hoping for at least 5 girls out of the nine although more would be fantastic, playing the waiting game, trying not to get too attached in case they all turn out to be roos but not succeeding they are just so cute

Very cute chicks! Fuzz balls for sure. Love them.
