OK, Partridge Cochins, all 7 weeks old.......

Double checking this ones a pullet right? Her names Pongo.

Pongo looks like a pullet to me. Her face sort of looks like my golden laced bantam cochin. I don't know if mine is a pullet or roo yet, though.

Ok guys I know the chicken I rescued is not a cochin but I know a lot of you feel the same way I do about chickens so I just wanted to share my story with you.
I went to my local flea market today and walked in and looked at my husband and just started to cry. The way the were keeping the chickens just broke my heart. They were stuffed in tiny cages, stacked on too of rack other. No food no water in 91 degree weather. ( they were in shade). They had open sores. Gashes, cuts, missing feathers, infections, eyes swollen shut. Crossed beaks, curved beaks. Just a night mare. I picked out the worst hen I could find and bought her and brought her home this morning. Here she is

I just finished making her a temporary home. I don't want her to give anything my my chickens until I know she is ok. I carried her around to let her know she was safe. She is only used to bring grabbed by her legs and carried around upside down. I put poroxide on her gash. Then anti bare risk wash then neodporan. I feed her some cracked corn and some start and grow. It has more protein I. It. I figured it would help her. Any more tips on what I can do to help her?

honestly I would have kept my distance and called animal control.. no idea what those birds might carry and the chances of transferring that to your own flock are just too great. hope it all works out and she heals fine.
